We offer seven binding options for your natural fiber rug. We recommend the Wide Canvas Binding for all the weaves and it is standard on Brasilia, Sun Collection, Seagrass and Mountain Grass weaves. Binding swatches are available on the Swatch Request page.

Wide Canvas Binding

Mitered Corners - Blind Stitched
The corners of the binding on your area rug can be mitered which means they are finished at an angle. See photo. On the blind stitched mitered corners, the stitching is hidden. Blind stitched mitered corners are available with all blind stitched and top stitched bindings, except the narrow cotton. Corner shown is Desert Novo Leather on Cashmere Sisal Wool.

Top Stitched Mitered Corners
Mitered Corners – Top Stitched. The corners of the binding on your area rug can be mitered which means they are finished at an angle. See photo. On the top stitched mitered corner, the stitching is slightly visible – we use thread that matches the binding. See photo.
