“Dogwood” – this image was shot at Yosemite National Park in California.

The stark contrast between these delicate and soft dogwood petals and the rough bark of the cedar tree behind them make this image my personal favorite. There has never been, and probably never will be again, an image of mine that moves me like "Dogwood."

I receive a deep and very real sense of peace from viewing it. For me it is deceptively soothing, and if you look on it much my desire is that it becomes the same for you as well.
