“Everlasting Cathedrals” – this image was shot at Yosemite National Park, California.
“For centuries man has built cathedrals as a way to interact with his God.
Cathedrals have been a place to pray, contemplate and meditate on ones existence here on earth. Our time here is short, by eternal or geological standards and therefore most of us try our very best depending on where we are in our lifecycle. Our feeble attempt to build places of such worship pale in comparison to the ones provided to us naturally. As time will undoubtedly show, cathedrals ‘man made’ will yield to those made eternal.
I have spent my fair share of time praying, contemplating and meditating in such places and I am glad to know about these “Everlasting Cathedrals”, as only Rodney Lough can share with us.
